Harald J. Wester

Executive Chairman of Maserati
Chief Technical Officer


Harald is Executive Chairman of Maserati and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the FCA group. He has also been a member of the Group Executive Council (GEC) and CTO since September 2011.

He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Maserati, and as Head of Alfa Romeo and Maserati (until May 2016) and Abarth (until 2013).

Harald started his professional career at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg, where he was General Manager of the Vehicle Research and New Concepts department from 1991 to 1995. Thereafter, he  

joined Audi AG where he became Program Manager for the A2 models and Special Vehicles. Subsequently, he joined Ferrari S.p.A. at Maranello as Director of Product Development (until 2002) and Magna Steyr AG (Graz, Vienna) as Group President Engineering and CTO (until 2004). In 2004, he joined the Fiat Group where he took on the role of CTO of Fiat Group Automobiles.

He obtained a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Braunschweig in Braunschweig, Germany.

Bettina Conze

Business Consultant

Now working as an independent business consultant & interior designer,

Bettina has a business background having served as an international marketing executive within the beauty and travel industry. 

She worked at L’Oreal, Düsseldorf, last as head of consultancy/ trade marketing before taking on the role as Marketing Manager Eurotunnel, France, launching the Le Shuttle cross channel car service into the German market. She finally successfully developed new business ventures for Hilton International, London, where she was responsible for new product development for all Hilton International properties worldwide.

Bettina holds a master’s degree in business administration from Cologne University. She started a second career in 2000 by studying interior design staying at home raising two children whilst living in England, the US, Switzerland, France, China and recently in Germany. She obtained her diploma in Interior Design from Rhodec International, London, in March 2004.

Hans J. Wester

Chair of Pharmaceutical Radiochemistry,

Technical University Munich 


Hans-Jürgen studied Chemistry at the University of Cologne (Diploma 1992 in Radiochemistry) and joined the Nuclear Research Center Juelich GER for his Doctoral Thesis (1996, Ph.D. in Radiopharmaceutical Chem.). Thereafter he became Scientific Assistant (1996-97) and Research associate (1998-2003) at the Department of Nucl.Med., Technical University Munich (TUM). In 2003 he received several Offers (Associate and Full Professorships) by US and German Universities and became Professor (C3) of Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry (2004-2010, TUM, Faculty of Medicine, Dept. of Nucl.Med., with coappointment at the Faculty of Chemistry). Since 2010 he is Full Professor (W3) for Pharmaceutical Radiochemistry at the TUM, 1st full appointment at the Faculty of Chemistry, 2nd full appointment at the Faculty of Medicine. Hans-Jürgen founded SCINTOMICS GmbH in 2006 and was CEO until 2015. His research focusses on the development of molecular probes for the non-invasive imaging of diseases, new strategies for production of radiopharmaceuticals, radionuclide therapy, tissue selective targeting of imaging probes and therapeutic compounds, transfer of genomic and proteomic information into new imaging methods.
